I've made an effort to pick up some books and read them all (if not more) by the end of the summer.

The first book in my stack was Where'd you go Bernadette a book by Maria Semple. Honestly, the book is a little cheesy, but it is really well written and incredibly funny. At times I was tossing and turning in my bed as I read because it was so intense, other times I was tearing up, but most of the time I was laughing.

I read the thing in 3 days, and not because I was in a rush. I literally couldn't put the thing down. I had to force myself to so I would go to bed at a decent hour (3am...)

So if you want an easy read that is well written and incredibly funny, give this one a try. It's also a New York Times Bestseller, if you need a more authoritative opinion.
